Mass incarceration is a fundamental paradigm of the contemporary United States that targets poor and Black people in a process of dehumanization and subjugation. Nevada jails people at a higher rate than most states and is a planetary leader of incarceration, at a rate higher than the U.S. as a whole. We have the power to change it all.

Mass Liberation uplifts alternative news focused on the experience of individuals directly impacted by state violence, in particular policing, homelessness, and imprisonment. We provide analysis and critique of local, regional, and state government, provide popular education on organizing and activism, as well as platform for marginalized voices.
